Here is a walkthrough of the sessions, what we cover in the week long program and what you will get out of it. If you have already done the core MDE Program, we have a 50% graduate rate for you to attend.

Session 1: The MDE Game Plan

In this  session Matt sets the scene for your MDE practice. He establishes the difference between a practice & a business & helps you plan your turn over, take home & exit plan (if you wish) in ten years.


Session 2: Building your unique brand

The key to being a MDE is making sure we increase the value of your ideas. This means ensuring they are relevant, thorough, elegant & unique. This session identifies your unique perspective - your genius (UQ). This UQ then instructs your personal brand, your signature style & increases how much you get paid for your ideas.


Session 3: Unpacking what you know

The magic ingredient to our programs is the focus on high quality message - thought leadership. Our proprietary IP capturing process is phenomenal & allows you to unpack all the genius that lies inside you. This session is like mining for gold.


Session 4: What’s your word?

From the first three sessions we begin to see what your master message is. This is the context that allows us to tie together all of your diverse interests & projects into a single opportunity seeking brand. This becomes what you are known for, this master message is what you are an authority in. Nailing this is a breakthrough moment in the program.

Session 5: The six different ways to make money

Core to the MDE methodology is the law of diversity. Specialise your message, diversify your delivery. This gives you the best of both worlds. In this session we de-mystify the six core delivery modes so that you are able to leverage them for cash flow in your practice.


Session 6: How to sell & market like a brain surgeon

Selling yourself is hard & marketing ‘brand you’ is tough. You are so often too close to yourself to see how. This session fixes that & explains where practice based marketing differs from traditional business marketing. It’s about creating attraction not forcing business.

Session 7: Your first 36 months after the program

This session will give you a birds eye view of 12 x 90-day projects. Each of these are designed to increase your revenue by $10,000 a month.


Session 8: The 12 core collaterals

A MDE practice needs 12 core collateral pieces. This session identifies those, walks through examples and gives each person in the room a chance to scope out theirs.

Session 9: Building conviction

Historically sales has been about convincing people of the value of your ideas. In this session we build a conviction case that allows you to serve not sell and increase the likelihood that people will buy.


Session 10: Getting into the detail - Part 1

In this session we walk through your detailed plan for next three years. We put form around exactly what you are offering, to exactly who and how you need to do it. This is a super practical session.


Session 11: Getting into the detail - Part 2

The 12 projects have 10 key elements for success with physical examples for each. That’s over 120 forms, brochures, documents and letters you can model to get going on your MDE plan.


Session 12: Hot seat -Session 1

Individual attendees get lit up about how they can work their commercial angle and achieve positioning as a Thought Leader. This might be you!

Session 14: The practice platforms

In this session we discuss the software you use and systems you put in place for running your MDE practice. Leveraging the ‘cloud’ and ‘Open API’s’, we show you how you can punch above your weight, running a lean business with maximum leverage.


Session 15: Accelerating your success

We are so confident in this curriculum that we can say without hesitation the only thing stopping you succeeding will be your personal action integrity and accountability to the plan. This session gives you the daily dashboard you need to stay focussed and achieve MDE success.


Session 16: MDE revenue mindsets

To be a MDE Thought Leader you need a certain growth mindset. This session lays out the cognitive framework you need to adopt to make it as a MDE.
